Monthly Heartbeat Herbcraft Series:
These classes are hands-on “craftshops” in the garden that offer basic skills in herbal home healthcare. Including plant identification, harvesting techniques, making remedies to stock your kitchen apothecary through the seasons, safe use guidelines, making medicine with intention and gratitude, and cultivating a reverent, reciprocal relationship with these plant allies.
Sundays 1:00-4:00 at Heartbeat Learning Gardens, Cost is $30, limit to 14 per class.

May 24 – Wild Edibles – Eat, experience, and learn about the nourishing and healing properties of our amazing local wild weeds!
June 28 – Kitchen Apothecary Basics – Demystifying the art of herbalism for beginners. Hands-on making of herbal infusion, decoction, tinctures, honeys and drying herbs.
July 26 – Herbal First Aid – Discover safe applications of wild and cultivated plants, and learn what you may want to have in your herbal home first aid kit.
August 23 – Adaptogens and Nervines- Identifying our top 10 favorite plant allies for the endocrine and nervous system and safe and yummy ways to invite them into your life for greater ease, resilience, sleep, and serenity.
September 27 – Into the Roots – Prepare to dive into the dark soils, into the root medicine. Identifying, harvesting, and medicine making with local root medicine for vital health.
October 25 – Winter Herbal Apothecary – We will make some herbal respiratory/immune syrup to have on hand for the winter, and learn other winter herbal immune support and self-care.
November 15 – Medicine can be a Ball! – Experience this joyful way of consuming herbs. We will try out some different herb ball recipes.
December 13 – Into the Womb – Meditations, herbal support, and self-care for our womb and bellies. (This class is for women and those who identify as she/her.)
**We may be adapting these classes to virtual in respect to restrictions on gathering at this time. We may also adapt or add new topics if seasonal availability of certain plants changes. **
