In this monthly craftshop series, we are guiding you through a season of garden to kitchen preparations. This is an opportunity to learn folk methods in beginner’s herbcrafting in this habitat.
Herbal Craftshops Covers the basics of herbal preparations in the folk tradition, focusing on what’s in season and available in our herbal garden.

Suggested Donation is $25-40 per craftshop.
Sunday August 29 – Tincture-Making – This is a hands-on herbal craftshop on making tinctures from the garden in the folk tradition. We will discuss harvesting techniques and timing, virtues of different menstruums, how to infuse, decant, and enjoy your tinctures. Beginner’s encouraged. This craftshop is led by Nicole Manieri.
Sunday September 19 – Herbal Syrups, Broths, and Oxymels . This craftshop is led by Amy Chavez.
June 27 – Herbal Skin Care from the Garden with Cheryl Durgans
Saturday July 31 – Herbal Treats and Teas: A Journey through the Senses in Elemental Herbalism with Bee Bermond.
Herbal Craftshops will be co-facilitated by Amy Chavez, Cheryl Durgens, Hollyn Bermond and Nicole Manieri.
